Raheem DeVaughn has a new home for his late-night R&B sensibility. “The Garden of Love” launched on October 12th through Urban One’s Radio One and Reach Media, bringing the singer’s mix of music and conversation to stations including Baltimore’s Magic 95.9.

Magic 95.9’s own announcement lists the local schedule as Sunday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. to midnight. That distinction matters for anyone making listening plans this Friday: the announced regular schedule resumes Sunday, October 18th, rather than promising a Friday-night broadcast.

The station says the program combines classic slow jams with discussions about love and relationships. DeVaughn introduced the move in a conversation with Ryan Da Lion and described it as part of his growth in radio. It is a hosting and programming development, rather than an announcement of a new album.

The rollout extends beyond Baltimore. Radio Ink reports that the show has also landed at Washington’s WMMJ, Atlanta’s WAMJ, Philadelphia’s WPPZ, and Richmond’s WKJS. That wider launch gives the singer a recurring platform across several markets while preserving a local connection for Baltimore listeners.

Urban One programming executive Colby Tyner described the intended combination as music and conversations about relationships and everyday life. DeVaughn, in a statement reported by Radio Ink, thanked listeners who have followed his radio work and presented the venture as a new syndicated chapter.

For an R&B audience, the attraction is the pairing of a recording artist’s perspective with a format built for longer evening listening. The announced concept makes conversation part of the program alongside the songs. Individual station schedules remain the place to check for local changes.

Listeners can find the Baltimore details in Magic 95.9’s announcement. For another current look at how artists approach connection and vulnerability, read PowerPage’s interview coverage of TheARTI$T, which includes the original conversation.
