Jaguars Rout Colts 42–7 Behind Lawrence and Tuten

Jacksonville overwhelmed Indianapolis 42–7 at EverBank Stadium on Sunday, November 1st, behind efficient quarterback play, explosive rushing and a defense that repeatedly disrupted the Colts. The Jaguars improved to 5–2 while Indianapolis fell to 2–6 with its fourth consecutive loss.
Trevor Lawrence completed 10 of 14 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns without an interception, according to the Jaguars’ official game report. Bhayshul Tuten added 104 yards on 16 carries and scored both on the ground and through the air. Jacksonville finished with a season-best 183 rushing yards.
Jacksonville breaks it open
Lawrence capped a 98-yard opening scoring drive with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Jr. A 31-yard touchdown to Nate Boerkircher followed in the second quarter, giving the Jaguars production from multiple targets before the game tilted decisively their way.
Tuten’s 39-yard touchdown run with 1:50 remaining before halftime extended the advantage. Rayuan Lane then returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown with 10 seconds left in the half, sending Jacksonville into the break ahead 28–0.
Chris Rodriguez added a 28-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Indianapolis finally answered when Daniel Jones connected with Josh Downs for a six-yard score, but Tuten’s 25-yard touchdown reception on a screen closed the quarter and restored Jacksonville’s commanding margin.
Defense keeps Indianapolis contained
The Jaguars recorded four sacks and forced three turnovers. They also limited Jonathan Taylor to 23 yards on eight carries, preventing the Colts from establishing their leading rushing threat while the deficit grew.
The victory extended Jacksonville’s home dominance in the series to 12 consecutive wins, including 11 in Jacksonville. The Colts last won in Jacksonville in 2014. The Jaguars now face three road games before their next home appearance, against Tennessee on November 29th.
