The Commanders Week 1 depth chart gives Washington fans a clearer picture of the team heading toward its September 13 opener at Philadelphia. Released Tuesday, September 8, the chart lists Sonny Styles alongside Frankie Luvu at linebacker and Treylon Burks in the first group of receivers with Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs.
Washington’s published depth chart also places Amik Robertson and Mike Sainristil first at the two cornerback positions. Rasul Douglas and Fabian Moreau appear behind them. Those listings describe the chart’s ordering; they do not establish every defensive package or identify exactly how the secondary will align against different Philadelphia formations.
On offense, Jayden Daniels leads the quarterback group, while Jacory Croskey-Merritt appears first at running back ahead of Rachaad White and Kaytron Allen. Brandon Coleman is listed at left tackle, with Nick Allegretti at center. PowerPage’s earlier offensive-line report explains the preparation surrounding Allegretti’s return; Tuesday’s full chart broadens the picture beyond that one position group.
The depth-chart release follows Washington’s captain announcement. Daniels, McLaurin, Luvu, Jeremy Reaves, and Tress Way will serve as season-long captains. For Daniels, the designation is his first for an entire NFL season after handling the responsibility for individual games during his first two years.
The team’s announcement connects that responsibility to Daniels taking a stronger voice as he enters his third season and learns a new scheme. Reaves also combines a leadership role with a first-team defensive listing, appearing at free safety on Tuesday’s chart. Those assignments show how established leaders and newer first-unit players will share responsibility as the season begins.
Washington opens with consecutive division road games: Philadelphia on September 13 and Dallas on September 20, both scheduled for 4:25 p.m. Eastern. The official schedule makes the immediate stakes clear. The chart supplies a starting framework, but game-day availability, matchups, and actual snaps will provide the fuller picture of how this roster works together.
