Ravens Training Camp Begins a New Era Under Jesse Minter

A new chapter of Baltimore Ravens football is officially underway.

The Ravens have opened their first training camp under head coach Jesse Minter, beginning the process of installing a new structure while preparing Lamar Jackson and the rest of the roster for the 2026 NFL season.

The early days of camp will provide the first extended look at how Minter’s approach differs from the previous coaching era. Position battles, new terminology, roster chemistry and the physical demands of practice will all become major storylines over the coming weeks.

Baltimore also made an early personnel move Tuesday, waiving rookie quarterback Diego Pavia to create a roster spot for veteran offensive lineman Ethan Pocic.

Pocic gives the Ravens additional experience on the interior of the offensive line, an area that will remain important as the team builds its protection plan around Jackson and evaluates its running game.

The Ravens will also hold a public practice at the University of Maryland on Saturday, August 1, at 11 a.m. Tickets for the event have already been claimed, with additional fans placed on a waitlist.

The Maryland practice gives fans outside the team’s primary training facility an opportunity to see the roster in person. It also strengthens the connection between the Ravens, the University of Maryland and football supporters throughout the Baltimore–Washington region.
