“Diarra From Detroit,” “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and More Arrive This Week

The final week of July brings a packed streaming schedule featuring returning favorites, blockbuster movies, new television dramas and live music coverage.

One of the most relevant releases for PowerPage audiences is the return of Diarra From Detroit, the comedy-mystery series created by and starring Diarra Kilpatrick. The new installment arrives on Paramount+ on July 29, continuing its mixture of humor, relationships, neighborhood culture and amateur detective work.

Also arriving July 29 is The Devil Wears Prada 2, which reunites members of the original cast for another story set inside the changing fashion-media business. The sequel will stream through Hulu and Disney+.

On July 31, Starz premieres Fightland, a boxing drama connected to executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The series centers on the high-stakes world surrounding professional boxing, where personal rivalries, money and revenge can become as important as what happens inside the ring.

The week’s movie lineup includes The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, arriving on Peacock July 30, and The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, which begins streaming on HBO Max July 31.

Music fans will also be able to watch livestream coverage from Lollapalooza through Hulu and Disney+. This year’s programming includes performances from a wide range of artists and offers viewers who cannot travel to Chicago a way to follow the festival from home.
