TEDCO Entrepreneur Expo Puts Maryland Founders in Focus in Baltimore

The TEDCO Entrepreneur Expo is on Baltimore’s calendar today, October 27, with a full day of startup, investment and business-building programming at Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. For local founders, the useful question is where the schedule meets the next problem their business needs to solve.
TEDCO’s event information lists the Expo from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 401 West Pratt Street. It is the organization’s 12th Entrepreneur Expo, bringing entrepreneurs, investors and other members of Maryland’s innovation community into a program built around learning, pitches and connections. This is a guide to the published program, rather than a report of results from the event.
The official agenda places afternoon sessions at 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., followed by fireside chats from 4 to 5 p.m. and a closing reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Funding strategies, the demands of building a company and Maryland’s emerging technology industries are among the scheduled subjects.
That range matters because founders do not all need the same conversation. Someone refining a pitch may be looking for a different introduction than a company working through its financials or deciding how to bring research to market. Reviewing the session descriptions before choosing a room can make a crowded conference day more useful.
TEDCO announced the Expo’s return in February, citing demand after the 2025 gathering. Its earlier announcement reported more than 1,150 attendees and 100 exhibitors at that previous event. Those figures describe last year; attendance and business outcomes for today have not been established in this report.
For those already registered and heading downtown, the venue guide distinguishes the hotel’s street address from its garage entrance. It directs drivers to 213 South Paca Street for parking and warns that the garage may fill during the day. Check the current event information for admission questions before traveling; this article does not confirm walk-up availability.
