The Ravens finalized their trade for Jacoby Brissett on November 6, 2026, adding a veteran quarterback as Baltimore tries to steady an offense disrupted by injuries. The team’s announcement makes the acquisition official after reports earlier in the week indicated a deal with Arizona was being completed.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, as cited by the Ravens, Baltimore receives Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round pick while sending Arizona a 2027 fourth-round pick and a 2028 seventh-round selection. Those draft terms remain attributed reporting in the team’s account.

Experience for a Difficult Stretch

Brissett, 33, brings 73 career starts and 11 seasons of NFL experience. The Ravens’ report says he is slated to start their next game against the Chargers. He started Arizona’s first eight games this season before moving down the depth chart.

Arizona’s earlier report described the trade as still being finalized after Brissett was placed third behind Gardner Minshew II and Carson Beck. Friday’s Baltimore announcement advances that story from an expected transaction to a completed move, giving the Ravens a clearer direction at the position.

A New Option, With Work Ahead

The move follows Baltimore’s 33–10 loss to Jacksonville on Thursday. PowerPage’s game recap details the turnovers and quarterback difficulties that shaped that result. Brissett’s arrival now shifts attention toward preparation for the next opponent and how Baltimore will organize its offense around a new starter.

An experienced quarterback can give a team another way to manage a possession, but changing the player taking snaps does not by itself resolve protection, timing or ball-security problems. The practical test will be how quickly the offense can establish a workable rhythm together. That makes the next period of preparation as important as the transaction itself.
