NBA G League Adds Free Streams on NBA.com and the NBA App

The NBA G League is making hundreds of games easier to find this season. In a November 2 announcement, the league said NBA.com and the NBA App will host approximately 475 games that are not carried by its national broadcast partners.
Those streams will be free, without an NBA League Pass subscription or an NBA ID. Local broadcasts will continue, and the league’s own website and app will still provide schedules, scores, statistics, and links directing viewers to the appropriate stream.
The distinction matters: this is not a promise that every G League game will be available in the same free location. Nationally distributed games remain with the league’s broadcast partners, and playoff and Finals coverage will also run through those partners. Checking each game’s listing remains the clearest way to find it.
ESPN’s separate coverage announcement lays out another part of the viewing picture. More than 150 games are planned across ESPN+, ESPNU, and ESPNews, beginning November 10 with nine games on ESPN+. The network also plans coverage of the playoffs and Finals.
Its Winter Showcase schedule includes 16 games from December 19–22 in Orlando. The championship game is listed for December 22 at 5 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU. Those national windows complement the newly announced free streams rather than being folded into them.
The season itself starts November 6. Under the league’s announced format, teams first play a 14-game Tip-Off Tournament, followed by a 36-game regular season. Records reset between those phases, and the top eight teams in each conference advance to the playoffs.
For viewers, the practical starting point is the official G League schedule: choose a matchup, then follow its watch information. The new arrangement expands access while retaining several broadcast destinations. PowerPage Sports will continue covering the basketball developments that matter to fans in Baltimore and the surrounding region.
