“MobLand” Secures Season 3 Before Its September 18 Return

“MobLand” is getting more runway before its second season even begins. Paramount+ announced a Season 3 renewal on September 3, confirming that Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren will return. The next episodes arrive sooner: Season 2 premieres Friday, September 18.

The renewal keeps the drama’s central triangle in place. Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the fixer working for the Harrigan crime family, while Brosnan and Mirren portray Conrad and Maeve Harrigan. Paramount’s announcement extends the series beyond the upcoming run without supplying a Season 3 premiere date.

For viewers planning their fall watchlist, the immediate schedule is clearer. Paramount+’s viewing guide lists a 10-episode second season, with new episodes released weekly on Fridays. Season 1 is already available with either the Essential or Premium subscription tier, giving newcomers time to meet the family before the September 18 return.

The official Season 2 premise puts the Harrigans under pressure from ambitious rivals while conflict inside the family threatens their unity. Harry is again caught between obligations, with the work of protecting the family straining his other dangerous connections. The trailer presents that tension as the engine of the coming season, rather than revealing where the struggle will end.

Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond are among the new cast members joining the next run. Returning performers include Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon and Mandeep Dhillon. The series is produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.

An early renewal gives the show a future beyond this month’s premiere, but it does not answer the second season’s story questions.
