Maryland field hockey brings a 4-0 record and a No. 7 ranking into a two-game home weekend, with a free viewing option for Friday’s regional matchup. The Terrapins host Towson on September 11 at 6 p.m. Eastern, then welcome Saint Joseph’s on September 13 at noon at the Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.

Maryland’s September 9 preview confirms that Friday’s game will be available free on YouTube through the B1G+ Free Friday simulcast initiative. Sunday’s game is listed for B1G+. Fans should use the team’s official viewing links for the appropriate game; the announced free Friday simulcast should not be assumed to cover the Sunday matchup.

The Terps enter after a 3-2 shootout victory over Duke on September 6. That result kept their record perfect and supplied their first ranked win of the season. Maryland now stands seventh in the second weekly Penn Monto/NFHCA coaches poll, making this home weekend an early opportunity to follow an unbeaten team against two different opponents.

Towson’s official schedule independently confirms Friday’s trip to College Park. The Tigers are coming off consecutive victories over Georgetown and Rider, with the Rider game finishing 1-0 in overtime. After facing Maryland, Towson returns home to play American at noon Sunday. For local supporters, the schedule connects Friday’s road test with another nearby game two days later.

Saint Joseph’s schedule announcement places its Maryland visit within a five-game road stretch. The Hawks are scheduled to play at Lehigh on September 11 before continuing to College Park. That creates a different weekend itinerary from Maryland’s two home games and supplies context for Sunday’s meeting without predicting the result.

Following PowerPage’s recent Maryland soccer coverage, the field hockey weekend offers another way to track the Terps beyond football. Friday combines a regional opponent with an accessible stream; Sunday brings a separate nonconference test. Maryland’s unbeaten start supplies the sporting stakes, while the confirmed dates and viewing options make the next two games easy to follow.
