DIXSON Brings His Live Band to Blue Note LA After Kehlani’s Arena Run

DIXSON is bringing his live band into a more intimate setting after Kehlani’s North American arena tour. The singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has two shows scheduled at Blue Note Los Angeles on Monday, November 2nd, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Pacific.
His November 2nd media announcement describes a performance of his own music blending R&B and soul, with the European leg of Kehlani’s tour still ahead. Blue Note Los Angeles lists the evening as a celebration of his birthday.
From songwriting credits to center stage
The booking follows a notable songwriting achievement. SESAC’s 2026 Grammy winners list names Darius Dixson in the Best R&B Song category for “Folded,” recorded by Kehlani. That award recognizes the writing behind the record; it is distinct from a performer winning for a vocal recording.
The connection gives this club date a useful context: an artist whose work reaches listeners through a major collaborator is presenting his own music with a band. The announcement does not supply a set list, so “Folded” should not be assumed to be part of either show.
Showtimes and entry details
The venue lists doors at 5 p.m. for the early show and 9 p.m. for the late set. All times are local to Los Angeles. Blue Note is at 6372 West Sunset Boulevard.
There is a $20 minimum per person in addition to ticketing. Table seating is all ages, while the bar area is restricted to guests 21 and older; seating is first come, first served. Buyers should use the venue’s official listing and its linked TicketWeb options, then check current availability and entry requirements before traveling.
