Trippie Redd Sets August 14 Release for NDA

Trippie Redd’s NDA is scheduled to arrive August 14.

Trippie Redd has placed his next era on the calendar. The Ohio rapper’s new album, NDA, is scheduled for August 14 through 1400, 10K and Atlantic.

The announcement arrived with a cinematic trailer that establishes a dark, suspense-heavy visual world around the project. The rollout also points listeners toward “Swagger,” the next single previewed in the trailer.

NDA will include “Paperbag Boy,” Trippie Redd’s recent collaboration with Young Thug. Beyond those details, the announcement keeps much of the album under wraps, letting the imagery create anticipation without turning the first reveal into a full track-by-track disclosure.

That approach fits an artist whose music has always moved between rap, melody, rage production and emotionally exposed songwriting. Trippie’s strongest records often feel less concerned with strict genre boundaries than with building an atmosphere large enough to hold all of those impulses.
