Reebok is revisiting Allen Iverson’s original signature sneaker with the Question Mid Recoded, a 30th-anniversary update scheduled for November 10th. The brand’s release calendar lists both the Red Toe and green anniversary versions at $170, with a launch time of 10 a.m. Eastern.

The model looks back to the Question’s 1996 debut while changing parts of its construction. Reebok’s product description identifies tumbled leather, the recognizable toe cap and visible Hexalite windows as links to the original design. Its red, white and blue version keeps that familiar color arrangement at the center of the anniversary presentation.

What Reebok says has changed

The company lists a SuperFloat heel technology pod, additional room in the toe box and a revised traction pattern inspired by the original shoe. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not results from a PowerPage wear test. The update’s central proposition is to preserve the recognizable silhouette while revising how the shoe is built underfoot.

The second listed version takes a different visual route. Reebok identifies its colors as Optical Emerald and Lime, giving the anniversary release a substantially different look from the white-based Red Toe. Both appear on the same upcoming-release calendar, so the currently announced price and launch window apply to each.

For sneaker collectors, the distinction between a retro and a revised design matters. A familiar upper does not mean every component is unchanged. Here, the Recoded name accompanies specific construction changes that buyers can compare against the product details, rather than assuming this is an exact reproduction of the 1996 model.

The release is also a reminder of how a signature basketball design can remain part of the style conversation decades after its debut. Reebok is making that history explicit in its 30-year presentation. Readers interested in the drop should check the official release calendar as November 10th approaches for current availability and launch information.
