Nike, Georgia and Outkast Bring Southern Hip-Hop Style to a New Collection

Outkast’s style is heading into a new kind of game-day wardrobe. Nike, the University of Georgia and Class Trip have joined forces on Outkast U, a collection shaped by André 3000 and Big Boi. Nike’s official announcement sets October 28th, 2026 for the full release at nike.com and select retail locations, following an initial October 27th launch.
The range brings together varsity jackets, football jerseys, rugby shirts, fleece, graphic T-shirts and headwear. Its shared emblem places Outkast’s crown above Georgia’s G, connecting the duo’s visual identity with the school’s familiar mark. The number 96 references the year of ATLiens, giving the sportswear a direct link to the group’s catalog.
A wardrobe with a musical point of view
Nike says the designs draw from the artists’ personal wardrobes. That is what makes this collaboration interesting beyond a pair of names on a label: the premise gives two distinct approaches to dressing room to exist inside one collection. A varsity jacket and a graphic tee can communicate the same allegiance without asking everyone to wear the same uniform.
For music fans, the appeal is in how the references travel. An album-era number or a recognizable crown can turn everyday clothing into a conversation about the records attached to it. The strongest piece for an individual wardrobe may be the one that works without needing the entire matching outfit.
The release and the game-day connection
Nike also lists an October 31st pop-up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and says Georgia athletes, coaches and staff will have exclusive on-field and sideline pieces for the Florida game. Those team-only items should not be confused with the retail assortment.
Check Nike’s current listings for the particular item, size and price you want; a collection launch does not guarantee that every piece remains available. For more stories connecting the music to the culture around it, follow Power1047’s Hip-Hop News coverage.
