Lamar Jackson will miss a second consecutive game, leaving Tyler Huntley to start again when Baltimore faces Cleveland. Head coach Jesse Minter confirmed the decision Friday, October 16th, after Jackson remained unable to practice because of his ankle injury.

Huntley takes over after guiding the Ravens through their overtime comeback in Atlanta. Baltimore’s official Friday update also confirms that Trey Hendrickson is set to return, giving the defense a reinforcement while the offense continues adjusting to absences.

Four Ravens ruled out

The final injury table lists Jackson, center Cam Jurgens, tight end Matt Hibner and defensive lineman Broderick Washington as out. Jurgens remained limited throughout the week with a concussion; Hibner did not practice because of a hand injury, and Washington missed Thursday and Friday with an ankle injury.

Guards Emery Jones Jr. and Andrew Vorhees are questionable after three limited practices. Receiver Ja’Kobi Lane is also questionable despite full participation all week. Those designations leave decisions open; they do not establish that any of the three will be active.

Help arrives on defense and at receiver

Hendrickson practiced fully each day and has no game designation following his finger procedure. Rashod Bateman and Zay Flowers also carry no final designation. Bateman returned to full work Friday, while Flowers remained limited with a toe issue.

The team’s report says Vega Ioane will make another start at center with Jurgens unavailable. Lane still needs to come off injured reserve before he can play. At tight end, Hibner’s absence could create more work for fellow rookie Josh Cuevas.

Cleveland has decisions of its own

The Browns list Mason Graham, Carson Schwesinger, Quinshon Judkins and Derek Barnett as questionable. All four returned to limited practice Friday. Cleveland ruled out Kalia Davis, Dillon Gabriel, Mike Hall Jr., Teven Jenkins and Dylan Sampson.

Friday’s designations resolve the central question left open in our Thursday injury update: Baltimore will prepare to play without Jackson. The remaining questionable players still require a separate availability check before kickoff.
