Pooh Shiesty is compressing an entire album rollout into the final days before New Music Friday. The Memphis rapper announced Wednesday that All Eyes On Shiest will arrive August 7 and released “Last Man Breathin” as the project’s first same-day preview.
The announcement was made through Shiesty’s verified Instagram account, where he wrote that the single is available now and the album is due Friday. HotNewHipHop and XXL subsequently confirmed the date. That direct artist post is the clearest evidence for the release; PowerPage is not treating circulating fan track lists or unverified feature claims as confirmed.
“Last Man Breathin” places the focus back on Shiesty’s voice and perspective rather than the legal circumstances surrounding him. The release is notable because it gives listeners new music immediately instead of asking them to wait through a long teaser campaign. Two days later, the full album is scheduled to test how much demand remains around one of the most recognizable voices from Memphis rap’s recent generation.
The short runway also changes how the record will be judged. With almost no traditional pre-release window, the music must create its own momentum through first listens, fan discussion and playlist placement. It is a high-attention strategy, but it leaves little room for advance singles to define the album before listeners hear it as a complete body of work.
PowerPage will reserve final judgments about the project’s sound, features and full credits until the album is released. For now, what is verified is straightforward: “Last Man Breathin” is out, and All Eyes On Shiest is scheduled for Friday, August 7.
