Money B is bringing his experience inside Digital Underground to two different formats this month: a television conversation and a memoir. Together, they put the emphasis on the people and communities behind Hip-Hop’s familiar records, with the book scheduled for October 13th.

In its October 7th announcement, WorldWide Entertainment TV says its “Hip-Hop’s Living History” episode premiered the previous day on Brooklyn Free Speech HD. Money B’s segment revisits Digital Underground, Shock G, Tupac Shakur, and the experiences that shaped his career. These are the program’s announced subjects; this article is not a review of the full broadcast.

The episode also features Shawn “Hazz” McDonald. According to the producer’s description, his conversation includes memories of Run-DMC, Jam Master Jay, and his later work across music, film, and television. Pairing the interviews gives the program perspectives from different regional scenes and different kinds of entertainment work.

Money B’s official merchandise store separately confirms A D.U. Party Don’t Stop: The Money B Story, co-written with Chad Coenson. The 256-page paperback is presented as a memoir connecting his upbringing, the Black Panthers who educated him, and Digital Underground’s collective creative life. The store describes reflections on recording, performances, fame, and artistic integrity rather than advertising a celebrity exposé.

The distinction matters for readers interested in music history. A memoir offers one participant’s perspective; it can add texture and detail without becoming the only account of a scene or an era. Reading those recollections alongside other artists’ accounts leaves room for both shared experience and differences in memory.

For anyone ordering the signed paperback, the store says preorders ship within ten business days after the official release date. October 13th should therefore not be treated as a guaranteed delivery date. The program announcement provides Brooklyn cable and online viewing information, while the official book listing supplies ordering details.
