LL Cool J is taking Rock the Bells to Las Vegas for an 11-show residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2027. The production will pair his catalog with storytelling, DJs and guest appearances, giving the Hip-Hop platform a new recurring live destination.

The announcement extends a brand that already works across content, commerce and live experiences. According to Universal Music’s uDiscover announcement, the show will connect Hip-Hop’s New York origins with its wider cultural reach, bringing performers from different generations into the presentation.

A platform moves onto a residency stage

LL Cool J founded Rock the Bells in 2018. Its programming includes MCs, DJs, breakers and graffiti artists; the residency puts that broader cultural mission alongside the rapper’s own performances. Organizers have not yet identified the special guests, so an individual night’s lineup remains unconfirmed.

The format also leaves room for something beyond a run through familiar records. Storytelling and staged appearances are part of the announced production, although a complete running order has not been released. No specific song or guest should be treated as guaranteed for a ticket purchase.

The confirmed dates and ticket window

Park MGM lists May 15th, 16th, 19th, 21st and 22nd, followed by July 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th and 17th. The venue gives a 7 p.m. door time and an 8 p.m. showtime for the announced dates, all in Las Vegas local time.

Ticketmaster’s May 19th listing shows the general sale beginning Monday, November 2nd, at 10 a.m. Pacific—1 p.m. Eastern. Presale access is separate from that public sale. Fans should use the official event listing to check eligibility and the selected performance before booking.

For listeners considering a trip, the practical distinction is the two separate blocks of performances: five dates in May and six in July. The venue’s residency page brings those dates together, while ticket availability and seating are handled through its official ticket links.
