Lil Uzi Vert is opening August with a compact new project and a clearer picture of the independent infrastructure around their next chapter.

Maverick “Almost Forever” arrived July 31 with eight songs running 23 minutes. Apple Music lists the release under Cor(e) and Roc Nation Distribution, while the track list closes with the bonus song “London.” The project is Uzi’s first new collection of 2026 and follows the launch of Cor(e), the artist’s fan-focused platform.

The rollout has been deliberately quick. There was no long countdown designed to explain every track before listeners could hear it. Instead, the EP entered the weekend as a complete package and received a fresh push around Uzi’s August 3 birthday.

That approach fits a project built for immediate replay. Seven core songs and one bonus track give Uzi enough room to establish a new mood without stretching the release into an oversized album.
