Lamar Jackson is set to return to the Baltimore Ravens’ lineup Sunday against the Buffalo Bills after missing three games with an ankle sprain. Coach Jesse Minter confirmed the decision Friday, giving Baltimore a clearer quarterback picture ahead of its trip to Highmark Stadium.

The Ravens’ Friday injury update also brought two absences: guard Vega Ioane and safety Jaylinn Hawkins are out with knee injuries. Ioane practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday but will not play. Hawkins will miss a second consecutive game.

Jackson completed three full practices this week and carries no injury designation for Sunday. He described the remaining discomfort as bearable; his availability should not be read as a claim that the ankle is completely healed. Baltimore went 1–2 during his absence.

What changes for Baltimore

In Friday’s press conference, Minter emphasized that Jackson’s return does not transfer responsibility for the entire offense to the quarterback. The coach praised Tyler Huntley’s work while Jackson was unavailable and framed the upcoming assignment as a collective one.

That distinction matters with another change required at right guard. Emery Jones Jr. and Andrew Vorhees are options to replace Ioane, according to the team’s report. Baltimore had not named a replacement starter in that update, so the final offensive-line configuration remains a separate question.

The Sunday assignment

Baltimore enters at 4–3, while Buffalo comes off a bye, as noted in the Ravens’ game preview. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern on November 1 at Highmark Stadium. CBS coverage is listed locally on WJZ in Baltimore and WUSA in Washington.

Jackson’s confirmed availability is the material change from PowerPage’s earlier practice report. A full practice was an encouraging step; Friday’s announcement establishes that he is expected to play. The missing guard and safety still leave personnel decisions around him as Baltimore prepares for Buffalo.
