Josh Levi Marks One Year of Hydraulic With Two Blue Note LA Shows

Josh Levi is taking his Hydraulic anniversary to the club stage. Blue Note Los Angeles lists two performances of One Year of Hydraulic on Tuesday, November 3rd, placing the Houston-born singer’s R&B work in a room built around close-range listening.
The early show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Pacific, with doors at 5 p.m. The late performance begins at 9:30 p.m., with doors at 9 p.m. Both are listed at Blue Note LA, 6372 West Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
An intimate setting for the anniversary
The engagement’s title makes the milestone explicit, but the venue has not supplied a song-by-song program. Fans should treat it as an anniversary performance rather than a promise that Levi will perform the project in full or bring out particular guests.
Blue Note describes its Los Angeles space as an intimate venue with a year-round mix of established performers, emerging talent and collaborations across genres. Designed by Legeard Studio, the room pairs a mid-century aesthetic with a full-service kitchen and bar. Its food program is led by chef Asaf Maoz.
For an R&B performance, that setting changes the practical experience: choosing a ticket means choosing how to spend an evening inside a seated dining-and-music venue. The room and its service model are part of the visit, not simply a backdrop to the stage.
What ticket holders should know
The event listing states a $20 minimum per person. That minimum is separate from the question of which admission ticket a guest selects. Seating is first come, first served, and table seating is all ages. The bar area is restricted to guests 21 and older; once its available seats fill, remaining bar-area space is standing room.
Blue Note identifies its own website and TicketWeb as authorized ticket sources and states that there are no refunds or exchanges. Review the selected performance time and seating category before checkout, especially when attending with someone under 21.
The venue recently hosted another contemporary R&B booking covered in PowerPage’s DIXSON story. Levi’s two-show engagement keeps the focus on artists translating their recorded work into a live room, with tonight’s anniversary providing the occasion.
