Gunna Reaches 100 Hot 100 Entries as “Pop It” Debuts

Gunna has reached a new career benchmark: 100 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard reports that “Pop It” enters at No. 55 on the chart dated October 24th, making him the 25th artist to reach the milestone in the ranking’s history.
The debut follows 4.6 million U.S. streams and 4.7 million radio audience impressions during the October 9th–15th tracking week, according to Luminate figures published by Billboard. The song also opens at No. 16 on Rap Airplay, giving the new release an early presence beyond streaming.
A milestone built over several chapters
Billboard traces Gunna’s first Hot 100 appearance to Lil Baby’s “Life Goes On,” also featuring Lil Uzi Vert, in 2018. Later that year, “Drip Too Hard” reached No. 4. His other top-10 entries include “Lemonade,” “Pushin P” and “Fukumean.”
He is the fourth artist to reach 100 entries this year, following J. Cole, Ariana Grande and Rod Wave. The total counts chart appearances across his catalog, including collaborations; it does not mean 100 No. 1 singles.
For listeners, that distinction helps explain the milestone. One debut describes how a record is performing now. A career entry total captures the breadth of an artist’s presence over time, across solo releases and the collaborative records that introduce different audiences to the same voice.

The milestone also arrives during a broader business chapter already covered in PowerPage’s SB THE LABEL report. That story examines Gunna’s move into leading an imprint and supporting other artists. Today’s development adds a separate measure of his own recording career: another chart appearance that takes the cumulative total into three digits.
