BET Awards 2026 Drops Massive First Wave of Performers

The countdown to Culture’s Biggest Night is heating up. BET has unveiled the first wave of performers for the 2026 BET Awards, set to air live on Sunday, June 28 at 8 PM ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by comedian Druski. 


Headliners and heavy hitters include:

•  Cardi B (leading nominations with six nods)

•  Common

•  Rap visionary Doechii

•  Don Toliver

•  French Montana & Max B (long-awaited reunion)

•  Jill Scott, Kehlani, Queen Latifah, Rick Ross, T.I., Tems, and more.


Rising star kwn will hit the BET Amplified stage, with Hip-Hop pioneer MC Lyte returning as announcer. Additional performers, presenters, and surprise moments are expected in the lead-up. 


“BET Awards has always been a celebration of the artists, visionaries, and cultural moments that shape our community,” said Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET.

Culture's Biggest Night just got a lot bigger. Heading into the final stretch before the live broadcast on Sunday, June 28, the BET Awards 2026 announced its second wave of performers. Joining the lineup are hip-hop royalty Nas, Baby Keem, Rapsody, Ari Lennox, and funk icon George Clinton.


The new acts join a massive first-wave roster that already boasts Cardi B, Don Toliver, and Doechii. Hosted by Druski, this year's show will also present Ms. Lauryn Hill with the Living Legend Icon Award.
