Busta Rhymes has put a date on one of the most closely watched producer-vault projects in Hip-Hop. Dillagence 2 is scheduled for August 25 and will be built entirely around unreleased production from the late J Dilla. The album follows the 2007 mixtape Dillagence, hosted by Mick Boogie, which paired Busta’s elastic delivery with Dilla’s drums and off-center swing. Busta Rhymes is joining one of the summer’s biggest multigenerational celebrations of reggae, dancehall and hip-hop. The veteran New York rapper has been added to Kaya Fest Toronto, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at Markham Fairgrounds. He joins Stephen Marley, Damian Marley, Julian Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, Shabba Ranks, Lila Iké, Jesse Royal and YG Marley.
