Young Thug’s “Slime Language 3” is not a quick check-in. Released August 28, 2026, and credited jointly to Young Stoner Life and Young Thug, the project stretches across 41 songs and two hours and 14 minutes. It is a full afternoon’s worth of music, with a guest list that gives listeners several different ways into the release.

The most immediately recognizable lineup belongs to “Eaters,” which features Tezzus, Travis Scott, Future, and Yeat. Elsewhere, Lil Baby appears on “Club Outside,” while Quavo joins Biggs money and Lil Unky on “Mob Guys.” Those credits offer a useful starting point for anyone opening the album and wondering where to begin.

The scope goes beyond that first cluster of rap stars. “Switch Up” features Mariah the Scientist, Lil Unky, and Bslime; “Birthday” pairs Cash Cobain with Bay Swag. Tezzus, diamond*, Bslime, and Lil Unky recur throughout the tracklist. Read together, the credits make the case for treating this as a collective showcase rather than a conventional solo release.

That distinction fits the series’ history. The original “Slime Language” arrived in 2018, with “Slime Language 2” following in 2021. Thug’s catalog also stretches from the vocal experiments of “Barter 6” and “Slime Season 3” to the broader reach of “So Much Fun.” The series offers a different entry point: following the people around him as well as the headliner.

For a first pass, try the familiar collaborators, then return to the opening stretch and follow the names you do not recognize. That is a more useful listening exercise than deciding a project this large on the strength of one guest verse. The interesting question is which combinations make you want to explore further.

The full album is available on Apple Music, with an explicit-content label. For another route through the week’s releases, revisit PowerPage’s August 28 New Hip-Hop Friday lineup. “Slime Language 3” gives that release-week conversation a much larger listening assignment—and plenty of room for listeners to choose their own favorites.
