WNBA Finals Move Atlanta Games to State Farm Arena With New Tipoff Times

Atlanta’s home portion of the WNBA Finals is moving to State Farm Arena, and fans should update more than the venue in their calendars. The league’s schedule announcement changes the date of Game 3 against the Golden State Valkyries and the start time of Game 4.
The revised Atlanta schedule
Game 3 moves from October 22nd to Wednesday, October 21st, at 8 p.m. ET. It will air on USA Network and CNBC and stream on Peacock. Game 4 remains Saturday, October 24th, but now starts at 1 p.m. ET instead of 3:30 p.m.; NBC and Peacock retain that broadcast.
The State Farm Arena event calendar reflects both times. It also lists the Hawks–Rockets NBA home opener at 8:30 p.m. ET on October 24th, half an hour later than previously scheduled. The two basketball events share the building that day, but fans should treat them as separate ticketed sessions.
A larger setting for the championship
The arena’s published quick facts list a basketball capacity of 16,888. That figure describes the venue’s capacity, not a guarantee that every seat is available in a particular ticket release. The building is at 1 State Farm Drive in Atlanta, a detail worth checking when arranging transportation.
For Game 3, the venue’s event page lists doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the public ticket sale beginning Friday, October 16th, at 10 a.m. ET. It also directs visitors to parking reservations and arena policies. Checking those details before traveling is especially useful when a game changes venues.
The series starts in San Francisco
The best-of-seven Finals open at Chase Center: Game 1 is October 17th at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock; Game 2 is October 19th at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network, CNBC, and Peacock.
