Victoria Monét Sets October Release for Frequency of Love

Victoria Monét performing inside a futuristic R&B recording studio and choreography space.

Victoria Monét has officially established the next chapter following Jaguar II.

Her new album, Frequency of Love, is scheduled for release on October 2 through Lovett Music and RCA Records. The announcement is accompanied by “Reach Out,” a Kaytranada-produced single supported by a choreography-driven video.

The timing gives Monét room to build a complete campaign rather than rushing directly from announcement to release.

That matters because Jaguar II changed the scale of her career. The project moved her from respected songwriter and industry insider into a visible solo performer with a clearly defined sound, visual identity and live presentation.

The next album must build on that success without simply repeating it.

“Reach Out” suggests that Monét remains committed to R&B built around rhythm, choreography and precise vocal arrangements. Kaytranada’s production provides movement without overwhelming her voice, while the visual emphasizes performance as part of the record’s identity.

Monét’s strongest advantage is integration.

Her songwriting, vocals, production choices, movement and visual presentation frequently appear to originate from the same creative plan. That cohesion is increasingly valuable in an era when audiences may first encounter a song through a muted video clip, dance sequence or short social-media excerpt.

A visually strong moment may earn initial attention.

The song still needs enough structure and personality to survive once the clip stops circulating.

Frequency of Love will therefore be judged on two levels: whether it contains memorable individual records and whether the entire album establishes a new world as clearly as the Jaguar era did.

PowerPage Analysis

Victoria Monét is entering the stage where critical respect must become durable catalog value.

The album campaign should allow several songs to develop independently rather than asking one lead single to carry the full release through October.
