Victoria Monét and Alicia Keys are joining the September 26 Global Citizen Festival lineup in New York’s Central Park. The organizer announced the additions September 10, billing Keys’ appearance as a special Alicia Keys & Friends performance. Monét is listed separately; the announcement does not identify her as one of Keys’ guests.

The expanded bill gives R&B listeners another reason to follow the event. John Legend is already scheduled, alongside Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean’s celebration of the Fugees’ The Score turning 30. Lenny Kravitz, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER are also among the announced performers. YEONJUN and YOSHIKI joined the latest additions, and Hugh Jackman will host.

For anyone planning a trip from Maryland, the official festival page places the event on Central Park’s Great Lawn. Gates open at 2 p.m., with the show scheduled for 4 p.m. The organizer expects entry gates to close around 8 p.m. and the program to finish around 10 p.m. Build travel plans around the full evening rather than assuming an individual artist’s appearance time.

There are several ticket routes to compare. The Global Citizen app lets participants earn points through actions and enter drawings for free tickets. The site also links to paid admission and limited donation tickets. Those options have different requirements, so check the current offer before committing to travel. A listing is not confirmation that tickets remain available.

If you are watching from home, the September 10 announcement lists livestream destinations including YouTube, Apple Music, Prime Video, and TikTok. Revisit Global Citizen’s official channels for the final viewing links as the date approaches. That gives listeners outside New York a way to follow the performances without planning a festival trip.

The organizer connects the festival with education, food security, and electricity-access campaigns. Its festival-day guide also advises saving digital tickets to a phone wallet beforehand; printed tickets will not work.
