Tinashe has released “Pillow Fight” and “I’d Rather Be Alone,” adding two new songs to the countdown toward “Popstar.” The “Pillow Fight” official video premiered on her artist channel Thursday, September 10. Her official website and the video’s description both point to September 25 for the album, giving listeners a clear next date to follow.

The pairing is also identified in the official audio listing for “I’d Rather Be Alone,” which names the release “Pillow Fight / I’d Rather Be Alone.” That upload is provided by Nice Life/Atlantic and credits Tinashe on vocals. Together, the two recordings offer a fuller listening stop than the video alone, with the companion song available on the same artist channel.

“Pillow Fight” supplies the visual centerpiece. Its official thumbnail shows Tinashe surrounded by floating feathers, connecting the title to the image fans encounter before pressing play. The video description directs viewers to stream the song and presave “Popstar.” Watch the official video below, then follow the companion audio link to hear both parts of the release.

Apple Music lists “Popstar” as a sixteen-song album scheduled for September 25. Tinashe’s site also highlights “Crash Out” and the “Melatonin” video, giving listeners earlier entry points into the current rollout. Those releases can be explored alongside the new pair while the complete album remains forthcoming.

For listeners catching up with her catalog, Apple Music also lists “Quantum Baby” from 2024, “BB/ANG3L” from 2023, and “Songs for You” from 2019. They provide several places to continue after the new songs, without needing to treat this week’s release as an introduction to the entire album. The September 25 project is still ahead.

PowerPage previously covered the “Popstar” announcement and Tinashe’s Maryland festival connection. Today’s update centers on the newly available recordings and accompanying video. Hear “Pillow Fight,” give “I’d Rather Be Alone” its own listen, and use the official album links to keep track of release-day availability.
