Movie audiences who missed Supergirl in theaters can now watch the superhero film at home.
The 2026 release became available Tuesday for digital rental and purchase through platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home. Rental and purchase prices may vary by platform.
The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El and follows the character’s introduction into the developing DC cinematic universe.
A physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD is scheduled for September 8. A subscription-streaming date has not been officially confirmed, although an HBO Max arrival is expected later in the release cycle.
The digital release gives viewers the option to watch the film at home without waiting for its subscription-streaming debut.
Tonight’s Viewing Recommendation
Viewers interested in following the current DC movie timeline may want to revisit Superman before watching Supergirl, because the films occupy the same developing cinematic universe.
