Spotify’s RNB X Live Brings H.E.R. and Emerging R&B Voices to a November Festival

RNB X Live is taking Spotify’s R&B playlist identity onto a festival stage. H.E.R. joins Erykah Badu, kwn, DESTIN CONRAD, Jai’len Josey and opener rjtheweirdo for the November 1 event at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. For listeners following contemporary R&B, the lineup puts established names and emerging voices on the same bill.
Spotify announced the event September 8 with Live Nation, describing it as the platform’s first standalone R&B concert event. The organizers are extending a playlist brand into an in-person gathering, with Live Nation Urban involved in the partnership. The mix offers fans a chance to build an evening around familiar favorites while making room for artists they may be hearing live for the first time.
Although the event is branded RNB X Live in Dallas, the venue is in Irving, Texas. Live Nation’s event listing gives a November 1 start time of 5 p.m., and the venue’s website lists its address as 300 W. Las Colinas Boulevard. That distinction matters when comparing lodging or planning transportation around a ticket purchase.
According to Spotify, general tickets go on sale Friday, September 11, at noon Central Time. Its earlier Premium top-fan presale is a separate offer with eligibility conditions; seeing a presale window should not be read as general admission access for everyone. Check the official ticket listing for the sale that applies to you and the available ticket options.
Spotify also says selected performances will be recorded for later exclusive release through Spotify Live. That creates a reason for listeners outside Texas to follow the event, although the announcement does not give a release timetable for those recordings. Fans waiting to listen from home will need those additional details before making plans around an online presentation.
The announcement adds a live-music date to a fall R&B calendar that includes John Legend’s forthcoming Muse, covered by PowerPage this week. A festival and an album offer different ways into the season: one gathers several artists for a shared bill, while the other lets listeners spend time inside a single project. For RNB X Live, September 11 is the next ticket milestone.
