Trey Hendrickson Keeps Team First as Ravens Prepare for His Former Bengals

Trey Hendrickson is approaching his first game against Cincinnati with a team-first message. The Ravens host the Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 25th, bringing the pass rusher together with the franchise where he spent five seasons.
In the Ravens’ Thursday interview, Hendrickson played down the personal story line. His stated priority is helping Baltimore win, rather than allowing his history with Cincinnati to take over the preparation. That distinction matters in a division matchup with enough significance of its own.
Familiar opponent, different assignment
Hendrickson recorded 61 sacks for Cincinnati from 2021 through 2025, the fourth-highest total in the NFL over that span, according to Baltimore’s report. This time, his assignment is to pressure the team he once helped defend.
His Baltimore start has included a health interruption: a broken-finger procedure cost him two games. He has two sacks in four appearances, while the team’s report cites 20 pressures from Pro Football Focus. Those numbers describe work already completed, not a forecast for Sunday.
Quarterback preparation remains in focus
Thursday’s practice update also put Lamar Jackson back in the discussion. Baltimore reported that Jackson was in uniform at the start of practice and at the front of the quarterback line as he continued recovering from an ankle injury. Offensive coordinator Declan Doyle said preparation remained before Sunday; that observation should not be treated as a final game-status designation.
The development follows Wednesday’s limited-practice return, covered in PowerPage’s earlier Ravens report. Jackson’s availability and Hendrickson’s matchup are separate questions, but both are central to Baltimore’s week.
