Lamar Jackson Questionable as Ravens Lose Tavius Robinson for the Season

Lamar Jackson is officially questionable for the Ravens’ meeting with Cincinnati on Sunday, October 25th. Baltimore’s Friday injury report also delivered a longer-term setback: outside linebacker Tavius Robinson will miss the remainder of the season with a pectoral injury.
Head coach Jesse Minter said Jackson is progressing, but the quarterback’s availability could remain undecided until game time. Jackson practiced on a limited basis throughout the week after missing Baltimore’s previous two games with the ankle injury he suffered on October 4th.
Jackson’s return remains a decision to watch
The Ravens’ official report describes this as Jackson’s first week back at practice since the injury. Minter said the quarterback handled a meaningful amount of work Friday, giving Baltimore another opportunity to assess his movement before Sunday’s divisional matchup.
Jackson explained that running comfortably and managing pain are central to the decision. Returning to practice is encouraging, but the questionable designation means his participation against the Bengals has not been confirmed. Baltimore fans should watch for the final game-day availability announcement rather than treat Friday’s progress as clearance.
A significant change for the pass rush
Robinson’s absence creates a different challenge. He leads the Ravens with 3.5 sacks, and losing him removes production from a defense preparing for Cincinnati. The team’s report points to Mike Green and rookies Zion Young and Ethan Burke as players who could receive more work.
Safety Jaylinn Hawkins has also been ruled out for Sunday with a knee injury, although Minter indicated that his absence is not expected to be long term. Baltimore’s options include giving Keondre Jackson his first defensive snaps of the season or shifting Kyle Hamilton back into a deeper safety role.
Other names on the Friday report
Cornerback T.J. Tampa is doubtful with a knee injury after returning to practice this week. Defensive tackle Broderick Washington is questionable with an ankle injury; he practiced on a limited basis after missing the previous game. Cincinnati, coming out of its bye week, has a clean injury report.
The immediate picture is therefore mixed: Jackson has taken a step toward returning, while Baltimore already knows it must replace two defensive starters against the Bengals. Those are separate developments, and the quarterback’s final status remains the key unanswered question heading into the weekend.
