Ovrkast. has released “KNOCK,” bringing Samara Cyn and MAVI together ahead of his next album, “STRIKING.” The official video appeared Thursday, September 10, on his Official Artist Channel. Apple Music places the collaboration at track eight on the forthcoming project, which is scheduled for October 9.

The single runs 3:45 on Apple Music and is available to preview while much of the album remains unreleased. That gives listeners a new selection to hear now, rather than simply another title on a future tracklist. The video credits Mitch Ritter, with Skylar Cole and Kyle Anderson among the listed production crew. Watch the official release below.

The collaborations build on existing connections. Ovrkast. and Samara Cyn previously teamed for “Small Talk,” listed in his 2025 catalog, while MAVI appeared on “MAVKAST!” from “While the Iron Is Hot.” Samara Cyn’s “BUSHWICK” also features Ovrkast. These earlier recordings offer a useful listening trail for anyone meeting the three artists through the new single.

“STRIKING” is listed as a twelve-song release through three times LOUDER. Its announced sequence includes “STATIC” with Joey Bada$$ and Nali, “PANE” with Self Proclaimed Narcissist, and “Wata” with Niontay. Other guests listed across the album include Michael Sneed, DavidTheTragic, MARCO PLUS, Ben Reilly, and Amal Zenab. The complete project is still forthcoming, so this is an introduction to its rollout rather than an album review.

The Oakland rapper and producer’s catalog also includes “KAST GOT WINGS” and “Try Again (Deluxe).” His work connects solo releases with collaborations, making the guest lineup a natural place for new listeners to begin exploring. “KNOCK” puts two familiar collaborators in the same release and supplies a matching visual alongside the recording.

Listen to the single, revisit those earlier pairings, and follow the album listing for October 9. For another fresh Hip-Hop release, PowerPage also has Cash Cobain and BabyChiefDoIt’s “Betcha Can’t,” including its official video.
