NFL Week 4 delivered a full morning and early-afternoon slate on Sunday, October 4th, from Indianapolis’ win in London to several tense fourth-quarter finishes. This roundup covers the London game and all eight games that kicked off at 1 p.m. ET. Every result below is final; the later afternoon and prime-time games are outside this edition’s scope.

Colts 30, Commanders 13 — London

Indianapolis overcame two first-half turnovers and pulled away after halftime. Jonathan Taylor scored twice on five-yard runs, while Daniel Jones added a four-yard rushing touchdown. Washington lost Marcus Mariota to a knee injury and turned to rookie Athan Kaliakmanis, already playing without Jayden Daniels. The Colts led only 10–6 at the break before establishing separation.

The Colts recap identifies Jaylon Carlies’ interception as an important opening to the second half: it set up Taylor’s second score. Kaliakmanis answered with a 47-yard touchdown pass to Treylon Burks, but Indianapolis responded with more scoring drives. Spencer Shrader added field goals from 52 and 44 yards after halftime, and the Colts reached 2–2 with their third consecutive international victory.

Ravens 24, Titans 18

Baltimore scored all 24 points before halftime and survived after Lamar Jackson left with an ankle injury. Jackson threw touchdown passes to Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, Derrick Henry ran for a score, and Tyler Loop ended the half with a stadium-record 64-yard field goal. A Nnamdi Madubuike fourth-down stop near the goal line helped turn a tight game into a two-touchdown advantage.

Tennessee rallied behind a Joey Slye field goal and a Cam Ward touchdown pass to Wan’Dale Robinson, followed by a successful two-point conversion. The Titans could not finish the comeback. Baltimore improved to 3–1; Tennessee fell to 0–4. Read our full Ravens–Titans recap for the scoring sequence, injury details and final statistics.

Patriots 29, Bills 26

New England handed Buffalo its first loss, answering a late Bills lead with a touchdown drive of its own. The Patriots scoring summary shows Drake Maye connecting with Efton Chism for a 23-yard score to finish an eight-play, 73-yard possession. Maye then found Rhamondre Stevenson for the two-point conversion that produced the final margin.

The game repeatedly changed direction. Romeo Doubs caught touchdown passes of 14 and two yards from Maye, while Stevenson added a one-yard rushing score. Buffalo countered with rushing touchdowns from James Cook and Josh Allen, two Tyler Bass field goals and Allen’s 34-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman. New England moved to 2–2, with Buffalo dropping to 3–1.

Bears 23, Jets 12

Chicago controlled the ball and the ground game. Kyle Monangai carried 30 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns, scoring from one and five yards. The Bears game statistics show a 492–157 advantage in total offense and an extraordinary 42:45 of possession. Tyson Bagent completed 25 of 34 passes for 268 yards with one interception; Rome Odunze led Chicago’s receivers with 94 yards.

Cairo Santos made three field goals, helping the Bears build a 23–6 fourth-quarter lead. Geno Smith’s 58-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Williams reduced the deficit, but the missed extra point left the Jets eleven points behind. Chicago improved to 3–1, while New York fell to 1–3 after an afternoon in which its offense spent long stretches on the sideline.

Jaguars 22, Bengals 17

Jacksonville survived Joe Burrow’s 428 passing yards with two interceptions and one crucial final tackle. On fourth-and-10, Burrow completed a nine-yard pass to Chase Brown; Rayuan Lane stopped him one yard short with 50 seconds remaining. The Jaguars game report also highlights Foye Oluokun’s fourth-quarter interception near Jacksonville’s goal line, protecting a 16–10 lead.

Trevor Lawrence finished 18 of 23 for 227 yards and a touchdown without an interception. Brian Thomas Jr. caught his scoring pass, and Chris Rodriguez Jr.’s 25-yard touchdown run extended the lead to 22–10 before Burrow’s short rushing score narrowed it again. Jacksonville improved to 3–1; Cincinnati fell to 2–2. Thirteen Jaguars penalties for 125 yards made the victory harder than it needed to be.

Cowboys 34, Texans 30

Dallas rallied from a 16–6 halftime deficit and won a back-and-forth Texas matchup. Javonte Williams scored three rushing touchdowns, including runs of eight and two yards in the third quarter. The Cowboys play tracker credits KaVontae Turpin’s 47-yard kickoff return with setting up the first of those drives, while a deep completion to George Pickens helped create another scoring chance.

Williams’ third touchdown put Dallas ahead 27–23. Houston regained the lead, but Dak Prescott answered with a touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb to make it 34–30. The Cowboys held that advantage and improved to 2–2, recovering from their loss to Baltimore. Houston remained winless at 0–4 despite taking a double-digit lead into the locker room.

Giants 36, Cardinals 24

The final margin hides how close this game was. New York led 30–24 when Arizona reached the Giants’ four-yard line in the closing seconds. After three incompletions, Deonte Banks intercepted a fourth-down throw and returned it 98 yards for a touchdown as time expired. The Giants recap records a dramatic reversal after Banks’ earlier pass-interference penalty had helped Arizona reach scoring position.

Jameis Winston threw for 250 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Malik Nabers caught six passes for 112 yards and a score, with Malachi Fields and Theo Johnson also catching touchdown passes. Dominic Zvada’s 52-yard field goal extended the lead before Arizona’s final possession. New York improved to 3–1, while the Cardinals fell to 1–3.

Rams 24, Eagles 20

Los Angeles erased a 20–10 halftime deficit and shut out Philadelphia after the break. Kyren Williams scored two fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns, the second from seven yards with 1:17 remaining. The Eagles game recap traces the turnaround through a late defensive stand: Philadelphia failed on fourth-and-goal at the two, and the Rams subsequently drove for the first of Williams’ scores.

Darius Cooper had caught two first-half touchdown passes from Jalen Hurts, from 18 and ten yards. Philadelphia also lost Saquon Barkley to a hamstring injury. After the Rams took the lead, Byron Young disrupted the Eagles’ final possession with a sack and a strip, and Kam Curl broke up the fourth-down pass. Matthew Stafford then knelt to end the game.

Packers 17, Buccaneers 14

Green Bay’s defense protected a three-point lead despite two costly late offensive mistakes. Kaleb Johnson fumbled inside Tampa Bay’s five-yard line, and Jordan Love later threw a red-zone interception. The Packers recap credits Evan Williams with a late sack and pressure on the fourth-down incompletion that stopped the Buccaneers near midfield with fewer than two minutes remaining.

Love finished 22 of 30 for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft caught two-yard touchdown passes, and Trey Smack added a 58-yard field goal. Tampa Bay’s Jalon Daniels threw a touchdown to Kenneth Gainwell but also had two interceptions. Green Bay reached 2–2; Tampa Bay fell to 0–4.
