“Lupin” Part 4 has a date: Omar Sy’s gentleman thief returns to Netflix on October 23, with all eight episodes arriving together. Netflix’s August 31 update pairs that announcement with new photographs, putting Assane Diop back on the fall watchlist without giving away his next move.
The returning cast includes Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella, with Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard also listed for Part 4. Sy remains the center of a series built on disguises, misdirection and the distance between what an audience sees and what Assane has planned.
There is unfinished business. Spoiler alert for Part 3: Assane surrendered to police after trying to protect the people closest to him. That ending leaves a straightforward question hanging over the return—what does freedom look like for someone whose best skill is escaping the identity other people assign him?
The first-look images are not an answer key. They offer another glimpse of the show’s Paris setting and its lead character, but a photograph cannot settle how a scene fits into the story. The pleasure of a heist series is often discovering that the moment you thought you understood was only part of the trick.
Music is part of that identity, too. In an earlier Netflix interview about the series’ sound, composer Mathieu Lamboley described combining orchestral writing with contemporary and hip-hop influences. He explained that recurring character themes could change with the mood, while darker electronic colors helped distinguish different figures in Part 3.
That musical contrast offers another reason for PowerPage readers to revisit the series: listen for how the score shifts your expectations before a reveal. The interview concerns the earlier seasons, not a confirmed Part 4 soundtrack. It is a useful way to hear what the show has already built.
Parts 1–3 remain the starting point for a catch-up, and Netflix’s May 2025 production announcement offers an early glimpse of the return. With PowerPage also tracking “The Gentlemen” returning this week, the streaming calendar now has another crime-series date to circle for October.
