Jhené Aiko’s Westside Whimsy has moved from announcement to full release. The 20-track album arrived September 11, giving listeners the complete project after this week’s preview. One immediate starting point is “So Good” featuring Kendrick Lamar, now available through an official audio upload on Aiko’s YouTube channel.

This is a release-day follow-up to our earlier Westside Whimsy announcement. The new development is the album itself: a complete running order, full tracks to hear and a clearer picture of which guests appear on the released edition. Fans no longer have to build expectations around a teaser or a scheduled date.

The Apple Music edition opens with “Wild Cat(s)” and closes with “Golden Coast” featuring OHMA. Its other listed guests include Tyga on “Like, Whatever” and Larry June on “Neighbors,” alongside Lamar on “So Good.” The album also includes “He Belongs,” “Beach Boy” and “Nami’s Haiku,” providing several routes into the new material.

Aiko’s official “So Good” upload is an audio presentation, not a newly staged music video. It is useful for anyone who wants to hear the collaboration immediately before opening the complete album. The album artwork, with its turquoise background and reflective teardrop accents, gives the release a distinct visual identity of its own.

For a first listen, begin with “So Good,” then return to the album’s opening track and let the sequence play in order. That approach keeps a high-profile collaboration in context: a guest appearance can introduce a project, but the surrounding songs are where listeners get to spend more time with its main artist.

The full album is available now, while our New R&B Friday roundup offers more of the weekend’s releases. After the anticipation surrounding Aiko’s return, the most useful next step is also the simplest: hear the music, revisit the tracks that stay with you and decide where Westside Whimsy fits in your weekend listening.
