Daniel Caesar’s Chase Center show begins a two-night San Francisco stop tonight. Caesar is scheduled to perform Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, as the Son of Spergy Tour reaches the arena. For the opening night, doors are listed for 6:30 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 p.m., and 070 Shake is the announced support act.

The tour supports Son of Spergy, Caesar’s latest studio album and a project shaped in part by recording sessions in Jamaica. The album brings together a wide guest list that includes Sampha, Bon Iver, Blood Orange, Yebba, and Caesar’s father, Norwill Simmonds. Its personal framing and expansive collaborations give the arena set a different scale from the informal park performances Caesar used to preview this era.

Chase Center’s event page also places the tour alongside a new round of U.S. certification milestones. “Freudian” is now listed as double platinum, while “Get You” and “Best Part,” featuring H.E.R., are each certified seven-times platinum. “Japanese Denim” is certified triple platinum, adding catalog depth to a show built around the current album.

For ticket holders, the practical detail is that the two San Francisco dates are separate events. The August 20 listing identifies 070 Shake for Thursday, and attendees should verify the date printed on their mobile ticket before arriving. Entry timing, bag rules, and transportation guidance remain subject to the venue’s current policies.

All dates, times, prices, lineups, and appearances remain subject to change; readers should verify the latest details with the organizer.
