Camp Rock 3 Premiere Reunites the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato

The Camp Rock 3 premiere arrives tonight, August 13, at 8 p.m. ET on Disney Channel, with streaming set to begin August 14 on Disney+. Sixteen years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, the franchise is returning with the Jonas Brothers back as Connect 3 and a new generation of campers competing for a place on the band’s reunion tour.

Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas reprise Shane, Nate and Jason Gray while also serving as executive producers. The story sends Connect 3 back to Camp Rock after the band loses its opening act, turning the camp into an audition ground where friendships, rivalries and new relationships collide.

The new group includes Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as Madison. Maria Canals-Barrera also returns as Connie, now leading the camp.

The premiere also resolves the question hanging over Demi Lovato’s involvement. Lovato, an executive producer, makes a limited return as Mitchie Torres. The appearance gives the sequel a direct connection to the first two films without shifting the whole story away from its younger cast.

Music remains the engine of the franchise. Disney released “One Beat Away” ahead of the premiere, and the digital soundtrack is due with the Disney Channel debut. The film’s mix of legacy characters and new performers is designed as a handoff rather than a simple reunion special. It also gives younger viewers a clear entry point into a story that began in 2008.
