Busta Rhymes is opening the next chapter of Dillagence 2 with a moment built to command attention: a posthumous D’Angelo appearance paired with a Hype Williams-directed visual. The preview, shared through Busta’s official rollout, brings three singular creative voices into the same frame one day before the album’s scheduled August 25 release.
The Busta Rhymes D’Angelo Dillagence 2 connection is more than a guest-credit headline. D’Angelo’s layered vocal style gives the project an R&B center, while Busta’s animated delivery and J Dilla’s production language keep the record tied to progressive hip-hop. Hype Williams adds another legacy thread; his visual history with Busta helped make scale, color and movement part of the rapper’s signature.
