Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Live 2026 is setting up a one-night conversation between established headliners and fast-rising voices. Lucky Daye and Yung Miami lead the September 10 bill at Brooklyn Steel, with Samara Cyn, Skippa and Destin Conrad filling out a lineup that moves between R&B, rap and the increasingly fluid space between them.
Billboard’s August 13 announcement positions the concert as the centerpiece of its annual R&B/Hip-Hop Week. The official event page lists doors at 8 p.m., giving fans a clear date and location while the five-artist bill carries the larger editorial idea.
Lucky Daye brings a modern-soul catalog built on vocal precision and adventurous production. Yung Miami arrives from the opposite side of the marquee, with direct rap energy and a performance style made for crowd response. Destin Conrad strengthens the R&B core, while Samara Cyn and Skippa represent a newer generation still expanding its audience.
That balance is what makes the booking useful beyond a standard concert notice. Instead of separating R&B and hip-hop into isolated blocks, the lineup puts their shared audience in the same room. It also gives developing artists a stage framed by two recognizable names without presenting them as interchangeable. Each performer carries a different relationship to melody, rhythm and personality, creating several possible entry points for the crowd.
Baltimore listeners planning a New York trip have several weeks to make the call, and everyone else gets a snapshot of which artists Billboard is placing at the center of the conversation this fall. PowerPage’s Live Events coverage will watch for set details, guest appearances and any official streaming or recap plans as the Brooklyn date approaches.
