Baltimore City Community Grants Applications Close September 30th

Baltimore nonprofits have a near-term funding deadline to check. Applications for the Baltimore City Community Grants Program close September 30th at 5 p.m., according to the Baltimore Community Foundation. On this September 29th morning, that leaves one day to complete a request.

BCF administers the program with The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. It supports organizations providing direct services to low-income Baltimore City residents in housing, health, jobs, education and aging. Typical awards are $20,000, with one-time support available for organizational or project needs.

Eligible applicants must have 501(c)(3) status or an eligible fiscal sponsor and a total organizational budget of $500,000 or less. Organizations with an open Weinberg Foundation grant are not eligible. BCF permits one application per organization during the cycle and expects a brief report on the use and impact of the funding.
